Hi, I am new to the mac world, Can you advice me to find out the best Antivirus software for Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard Thank You. Hi All, I'm trying to dwnloag AVG Antivirus and AVG Cleaner for my MacBook but I am encountering problems. The current version of these products requires OSX 10.8 and all I have is OSX 10.6.8 (The highest I can go is OSX 10.7 but I can't afford to do this right now). Hi All,
I'm trying to dwnloag AVG Antivirus and AVG Cleaner for my MacBook but I am encountering problems. The current version of these products requires OSX 10.8 and all I have is OSX 10.6.8 (The highest I can go is OSX 10.7 but I can't afford to do this right now). Is there any place where I can download an earlier version of these products that will work with my OS?

The current version will be compatible from OSX 10.8

Basically if you are using Mac OS X v10.6.8, it can Upgrade to OS X Yosemite for free.

This not tru. OS C 10.6.8 is the last that can be upgraded on these computer that tht have the intel care duo. SO, is it possible to get an earlier version and if yes, WHERE?

So another words, it's not compatible with Snow Leopard? I have an older MAC and Snow Leopard is the last that can be upgraded. Is there AVG protection for AC with Snow leoprd?
